BearcatSA
I got my hands on the December issue of this magazine and there was this little nugget: Yeovil's Andy Welsh believes he's returned to England a better player after a spell in the MLS: "You see a lot of silly scores like 5-4 or 4-3, but I'm a better player having been through it." loyola
Interesting comment from Welsh. I'm wondering where that perception of weird scores comes from (that's something I,ve heard a lot). MLS has an average of approx 2.7 goals scored per game, that's 0.3 more than EPL. There can't be that many 5-3 games or is it compensated with a greater than average number of 0-0 games? ag futbol
Maybe we can run out the old Andy Welsh highlight package, namely him getting schooled on both sides of the ball and being physically trashed by much better players.
Richard
From the games I watched on TV Andy Welsh just was not up to the game in MLS, he was an overpaid underperformer like so many other TFC imports have been.
TFC07
Who cares what he thinks! He is garbage.
