Hopefully this will be the turn around for the Club and Hume. Winning this derby game was vital for the fans and the manager. I hope Hume continues to get 90 mins matches. I didn't see Hume's goal but I heard it is a great strike.

VPjr
Ornoch followed up his 2 goal performance for the Esbjerg fB reserves last week with another 2 goals while manning a central midfield position for the Reserve team this week. 4 goals in 2 matches is pretty good and hopefully will earn him a long look with the first team (he could have had 5 goals in 2 games but he didn't convert a PK opportunity that he had earned by getting pulled down in the box....he slammed the PK off the post). This is where it would really help for the CSA to have some balls and say : He's coming to Honduras. We'll do the medical to asses if he is fit or not, and if you don't release him we're reporting you to FIFA. But of course if Deportivo says he's injured the CSA will probably just give it up, no talk to De Guzman at all to see what he thinks. Then he'll end up playing in the next Deportivo game . You would have preferred for Depor to have pushed him and knocked him out for our qualifiers? Good logic. Don't you see that if anything Depor has done us a favour? By the way, the doctors aren't bad in Spain, there are less and less deaths of mothers during birth, tuberculosis and diptheria are down, most adults live past the age of 35 now. Leprosy has been eliminated except for a few neighbourhoods of Barcelona and Madrid. If they say he is injured he probably is, but if the CSA wants to check they have every right. And if they consider he is fit and want to play him, and he agrees, then there should be no problem. As long as they put him in quarantine for a few days having flown in from Spain. Is it still 30 days?? The CSA quacks might need 35 days to decipher any xrays, MRI's. How's that broken leg there Jason DeVos??

First off I wanted Depor to release him for Canada, not to play the next Depor game. And I wasn't knocking on Spanish Healthcare at all. I was just commenting on something that all clubs try, which is prolonging player injuries so they can skip their country's international match and be fit for their next club match. Teams here do not hold back a player from international duty unnecessarily. They can be strict about FIFA dates (Barça won their case against Messi going to the Olympics, setting a precedent whereby the Olympics are not FIFA dates and not an obligatory callup; then they let him go and win it), and are tough on injuries, as no club wants to see a player's injury worsened by an irresponsible national team coach. But they respect international duty, often scrupulously. But then the clubs ask the players to make some sacrifices when needed, like skipping a friendly here or there. Or not playing Copa America or Eurocup AND Olympics the same year. Julian has never been impeded from going to a call up in three years, this is the first time. We should be pleased his team is treating him so responsibly.
