If the matches continue to be tight then there might be a possibility that FIFA will expand the World Cup field. I can't see them going to a full 32 teams but a tournament of 20 or 24 teams might help women's football develop. European countries probably deserve 3 more spots; North America, Africa and South America each 1 and perhaps 2 more for Asia or have Oceana play off with the last place Asian team. The USA if fortunate in that they have one of the deepest player pools around. The 2 goals that Norway scored on the USA are good to watch as it shows that team play is really tight.
