USA /Mexico

Well the US in front of a close to 63000 standing room only crowd in Phoenix Arizona defeat Mexico once again 2-0. Landon Donovan gets an assist and scores a nice goal for the US victory. It's been quite a bit of time since Mexico has beaten the US it seems.

Well they didn't do it pretty, but a win is a win.

It was a fast paced game, both teams working hard. I don't know enough about the US team anymore to say if that was a total A squad or not.

Looks like a nice stadium, and a pretty amazing crowd.

The US keeper made some good saves and came out well on a few cross/corner kicks.

And at least 5 thousand of those 63k in attendance were American.

Oh... and Mexico beats the USA all the time... just not on American soil.

That's the irony of his post, he first talk like the USA is playing abroad against Mexico when they're playing in the USA but aknowledge that Mexico can't win in the US........

Yeah, but those are the facts aren't they? Mexico dominates in Mexico, USA dominates in US and A.

I'm not sure why. Although remember that there is alot more to home advantage than just the crowd. Weather, altitude, size of the playing field, jet-lag, etc. And of course in Mexico 100% of the fans are supporting them instead of "only" 70% or whatever.
