MrR
Could the USA finally get knocked off its perch when the next rankings are released?
red card
Expected rankings after the World Cup. USA off their perch. Canada manages to stay in top 10 but dropped over 50 points.. Another ranking estimate had US in #2 while Spain was #3. Sweden are playing Spain in the inaugural UEFA NL match. Colonel Green
Australia has their best World Cup showing ever and their reward is to drop an ordinal. Never change, FIFA Rankings, never change.
BearcatSA
Colombia can't break into the top 20 yet, either. That's a program on the rise.

Never change, FIFA Rankings, never change. That's because the Matildas only won 3 matches in regular time with 2 against lower ranked teams. They lost 3 and don't get full points for defeating France in penalties. Then, Japan leapfrogged Australia while Canada & Brazil didn't drop enough points. red card
For the first time since March 2017, we have a new World Number 1 as US is replaced by Sweden - their first time ever at the top. If Spain hadn't lost 4-0 to Japan, they would have ranked first. Morocco climbed the most by 14 spots to 58. Jamaica climbed past Costa Rica for 4th spot in Concacaf and 37th overall. It was close; Spain is only 0.63 points ahead of the USA.
