strobe_z Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 So I'm reading through the article accompanying the coaches' press conference video (http://www.torontofc.ca/news/2011/04/reds-begin-road-ccl) and I stumble across the following: FC Edmonton is a first-year club playing in the North American Soccer League. The Monties have two wins and a loss from their first three NASL matches scoring three goals and conceding the same amount. Who the heck decided THAT was their nickname? Monties is a rather unfair moniker, as tonight we didn't play like a bunch of overweight, grumpy old underachieving Scots Golfers.
