Andrew W
Toronto selects Xavier Balc with the second pick in the Supplemental Draft and then proceeds to pass each of the next three rounds.
VPjr
^ I'm very disapointed. Why not give three Canadians a shot to earn a dev. spot at training camp.
ag futbol
As am I, and not just because we overlooked the Canadians. We didn't even put an effort in to take anybody. Every other team took at least four players out of this draft (except Dallas which took two). I am trying to be optimistic about this upcoming season for TFC, but there is very little to look forward to. Not sure if I see Mo Johnston having a job in six months. The movements TFC have made compared to the rest of the league look terrible.
jimmynow
not drafting canadians does not preclude inviting canadians to training camp.
Gian-Luca
Just got back into the country after a week away & this is not the sort of news I was hoping to hear from the TFC camp. I agree with VPjr.'s sentiment on this. IIRC this was the draft they used to get Tyler Hemming last year, so it can prove to be beneficial. And I see from the Mother of All Canucks Abroad that the Chicago Fire used this draft to obtain a keeper who is not only Canadian, but a Toronto boy to boot!
