Richard
I really thing the Voyageur Golden Shoe should go to the top scorer from the teams that compete for the Voyageur Cup.
Blue and White Army
I really think it should be called the "Golden Boot".
DarnCherry
quote:Originally posted by Blue and White Army I really think it should be called the "Golden Boot". It should be but we have to think about those on this board who are confused when Canadians and Americans use the word "football" instead of "soccer" and "FC instead of "SC". Oh yes, and think of the children.
Blue and White Army
Bloody bad enough with Americans thinking they have to re-name everything... must we do it, too?
River City
We could call it The Golden Soulier, or the Golden Leaf, or the Voyageur something or other. A picture of a beaver, a maple leaf and a donut should be on the logo too.
themodelcitizen
Somehow came up on this old thread in a google search. Any plans for a Golden Boot for the Voyageurs Cup/Canadian championship? The points structure listed here, while confusing, is really interesting. With some refinement, it could be implemented in the future (Canadians playing in MLS having their totals doubled, Voyageurs Cup games following the same formula, USL goals multiplied by 1.5, and working on down from there...)
