Loud Mouth Soup
Too many light taps trying to clear. We need a good hoof upfield.

The guy could not be in game shape, and is not too used to this weather either after years in San Jose. Hume at least will enjoy the driving drizzle. Loud Mouth Soup
Good lord. We're even worse this second half. I've never seen such disinterest by our players as I have tonight.

Loud Mouth Soup
DeRo has to come off. Who clears back in to their own end?
Guest Jeffery S.
14 minutes left, bbc commentator says NI is poor in the attacking third and Sutton has had no work. They've given up on winning at home, don't want to break their record against us.
David C.
So are Kuklowski and Reda our central defense pairing? I guess God was reading our "Who will replace DeVos thread..."
Guest Jeffery S.
Steve Jones and Andy Smith on as they go to five subs. So no more subs with 10 men, what sort of tactic is this? What bugs me is that Frank has not got the team to hang on to a lead effectively, and here, where we could do a sub every 3 minutes for the last 9, we have nothing. David C.
2141: David Healy makes way for Andy Smith as Northern Ireland still try to find a way past the Canada defence. 2137: Northern Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez replaces Keith Gillespie with Steve Jones. Loud Mouth Soup
DeRo finally boots it hard. Right in to a NI player and it goes back to them and toward our goal. Not his day...
shaku_bert
is kluk for Kev still our only sub?
Loud Mouth Soup
Hume for Brennan. Why not DeRo?
David C.
Yeah, I'm surprised that we haven't seen Hume and Peters come on. Hutchinson must be hurt. Maybe Frank is too worried about bringing on forwards, with 10 men - just bad luck. [edit: Oops, I didn't realize that Hume had JUST come on. Sorry.]

David C.
2155: An agonising moment for Northern Ireland as deep into injury-time, substitute Steve Jones hits the inside of the Canada post from 10 yards.
Cheeta
Geezus. A third upright for NI! Bugger me. Sutton's got some strong medicine. A totem at either hand.
Guest Jeffery S.
It is done, we have won in NI. That is a rather noble effort considering being down a man and with a whole bunch of players in their off-season. Wonderful men.
David C.
2155: FULL-TIME Northern Ireland 0-1 Canada A disappointing night for Lawrie Sanchez's men as they lose at home to 10-man Canada in their last game before next month's World Cup qualifier in England.
