Trident
just travel better. Arrange trips to see teams close by, and eliminate the stupid travel rule. Enought of teams going to the west coast for a game, and then coming back home for another and going back out there again.

This is what i've been saying all along that there has to be block travel for national leagues like MLS. Why do you think the Expos did the West Coast trip?? MegasAlexandros1555362277
Although I agree that in theory travel can be done in an "intelligent" way, you can't really make the comparison to baseball, or even hockey. The reason being that with soccer, on average, you have 1 game per week. So if say NYRB wanted to organize a "West coast swing" (LA, Chivas, SJ, Seattle, Portland), what would they do... go on the road for a month and not return home in that whole time? It makes a lot more sense in baseball where teams play pretty much every day. The Expos would head out west and could play 3 series (LA, SF, SD) in just over a week and be back. Similarly, in hockey they can reasonably play a game ever other night. So if the Habs head out to California they can easily have 3-4 games (LA, SJ, Anaheim, and maybe Phoenix or Colorado) in one week and then return. ThiKu
They can play 3 games in 8 days. It's done all over the world.
