strobe_z
I thought we might want to start trying to consolidate some of the threads for the next round. On the Reggae Boyz forum, they're reporting the following for Mexico's Round 2 matches: Honduras at Azteca Canada at Chiapas Jamaica at Aguascalientes Estadio Victoria, home of Necaxa (altitude 2053 m above sea level, capacity 25,000) Wouldn't surprise me that Mexico would try to a)Intimidate Honduras, b)Scare the Crap out of Canada, and c)Limit the Jamaicans' athleticism. Joe MacCarthy
This has not been officially confirmed. The Estadio Victor Manuel Reyna is one of the Mexico's newest mid-sized soccer stadiums. This facility has a capacity of 25,000 seats and was built in 2003. It is located in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez (middle of state), Chiapas. This sport facility is used mostly for soccer games and is the home of soccer club Jaguares de Chiapas (Jaguars). Climate Temperatures are fairly constant year round, with variation depending on elevation. The north is dry with little rainfall, but the southern part of the state is more humid. The average temperature is 20°c (68°f), but temperatures may reach as high as 40°c (104°f) and as low as 0°c (32°f). Elevation The valley is at an altitude of 540 m. A large part of the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez lies in this valley, while the rest lies over the northern mountain range.
