vancanman
I was watching the multicultural channel the other day, and there was an announcement that the Whitecaps match would be on channel 109 in Chinese (Mandarin, I think). I'm not sure if it will work, but it's definitely worth a try to get our biggest minority (maybe the majority even) in Vancouver to get intereted in the team. Football is huge in Hong Kong (where they speak Cantonese, not Mandarin, oh well). Anyway, the commentator did mention the Voyageurs cup twice in the second half. I'm not sure what else he said of course, but he was sure a lot more interesting to listen to than Vic Rauter and the ancient guy with the dent in his head. DarnCherry
Right at the top of the match, just before the kickoff he mentioned the Voyageurs cup as well.
vancanman
I only saw the second half. So three times he mentioned the cup, so he might actually know what he's talking about. Too bad Vic Rauter isn't having someone read this for him. I just remembered Graham Leggat is the guy with the dent in his head. He was about 137 when he was doing CSL and Soccer Saturday...is he still around?

vancanman
I've been sitting here for a few minutes trying to figure out how to type the theme from Hawaii five-o.
