Gordon
...no it wasn't Dunfield who played the full game against Oldham but Justin Thompson, who had apparently just signed with the Shakers. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=130011&cc=5901

George
You can find an excellent overview of the match including player ratings. For the record Justin Thompson was a 7: "...Justin Thompson Rock solid, read the game very well and hassled Zola". Terry Dunfield was a 5: "...Lost possession frequently and passed the ball to Oldham". (I am sure the Terry bashers will use this as fodder. The guy is still a kid yet many are ready to write him off.)

Gian-Luca
I have to confess, I'm curious as to how one goes about signing a "non-contract" form.

You get paid, but you're basically week to week. You can cut at any time. I think you're paid per appearance.
Gian-Luca
Ah, thanks. I think Niall Thompson had something similar when he was with Wycombe in the English 2nd Division.
