Serie A team plays exhibition game at Ivor Wynne stadium

Does anybody remember a game played (late 80's ?) between an Italian club team and a local team (Hamilton Steelers?). Any info would be appreciated.

I have an Ontario soccer history book.  I will try to find it, as I know there are a few pages that have info about international club friendlies played in Ontario.
