World Soccer 500 (ie The 500 most important players) published in World Soccer monthly magazine September 2020 issue. Not ranked but listed in alphabetical order. (They do this list each year)

Number of Canadians 3

Jonathan David   Gent & Canada   'Lightning quick and smart, he scored 23 goals for Gent last season, and already has 11 from just 12 international caps. He is on the radar of Europe's elite clubs.'

Alphonso Davies   Bayern Munich & Canada   'In no time at all, the 19-year-old has gone from promising winger to supercharged, supersonic left-back. Probably the world's most exciting full-back.'

Christine Sinclair   Portland Thorns & Canada   'With 186 goals in 296 games, the 37-year-old is the top-scoring and most-capped international footballer of all time – what else is there to say?'

(I noticed only 8 women on their list)
