beachesl Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 All i can say is that I am very thankful for all the Canadian footballers who have made the sacrifice of playing for Canada over the years, and have threatened their club careers and sanity following the call from our inefficient CSA and flying all over the place to tilt at windmills on our behalf. Yes, it is an honour to wear the Maple Leaf, but it is easier for us to say "no way I would turn my back on our country" when 99% of us would never be given the chance to have the opportunity.
