xabuep2
The answer is yes. Canada's fate will be tided to their real potential and of course the result of the draw. To make things easier , Canada must be first in group A and face the third placed team of group C in the round of 16. In theory Canada would defeat this contender an then reach the quarter-finals playing the winner of 2B-2F making their way to a dream semifinal. But for this to happen a good draw is essential . Canada should avoid to face 3 powerful countries : USA, Japan and Germany. if Canada wins group A , the winners of groups C and E will be in their bracket. According to Fifa Ranking , today the seeded teams are : Canada, USA , Germany, Japan , France and Sweden. For a good path , in group C and E must be placed France and Sweden to make the things easier to Canada.
xabuep2
First of all , Canada must be awarded which countries will be in group C . In case of win their group , Canada likely play against the third placed team of group C . But if Canada finish second , then their contender will be the second of group C as well . So pay close attention with the teams of group C http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup

Plus, Canada will get an UEFA team in their group and they've had troubles with England recently (3 losses in a row if you're counting at home) I don't really get this reasonment. Your Group C is a wide speculation, and it's not explained to why it would be Group C or not D or E. You're pretty much saying that Canada needs tons of help to make it to the semis. xabuep2
Yes it could be 3D or 3B , but the first option is 3C . If England is in Canada's group , as you said, and England defeats Canada setting Canada in second place of group A . Canada will play against 2C ! I simply state that it there is a great possibility to face 3C or 2C and therefore to pay attention to the teams placed in group C darling .
