Massive Attack
Wow, anyone that can't see the women get so much more than the men from the CSA is either blind, biased or has a giant chip on their shoulder. The gender equity problem is an urban legend that has grown to epic proportions.
CoachRich
Yes it all has to do w/ the CSA & the PSO's. I would suggest that a lot of the time the WNT have available it that they are college students or just out of college when the MNT have a lot of pros & more expenses to incur to get together. Remeber most of their games are offshore so it's not costing the CSA anything. But when you have such a successful program why not put some money into a program that is successful vs giving them only $150K for a WWC program. Almost 1/2 the membership of soccer is female so how do you think they feel about how the money is not going to WNT. Speaks volumnes to why the current CSA board & the staff need to be reviewed by an independent committee as they are not servicing the membership. The battle is not about the WNT vs the MNT, the battle is about the CSA doing a better job of providing enough $ so there is equality across the board for all NT programs. If the CSA continues to ignore the WNT they are going to have serious problems w/ women in sports groups. Marnie Mc Bean's statement has basically put the CSA on notice that women are watching. But you are turning the battle into Men v. Women. The fact is this: the CSA runs everything like crap, on a bare bones cheap budget.
CoachRich
The women's issue is focusing on how poorly the CSA is run. If they were doing a better job they wouldn't be on the radar. IMO the women's issue will bring about change quicker than any other approach to changing the CSA.

OK then how would you assess the Agentinain AFA in that case? after that 11-0 drubbing? what about Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Holland, and a gazziliion others who are not even playing in the WWC. I guess that they must be total failures then? where is the movement to oust them?
