Jarrek
Sure, but the truth is that even with Shevchenko Ukraine have NEVER qualified for any major tournament. Hopefully, this time it's different.
Andrew W
I'm hopeful for Ukraine. It would be a great boost for that country.
redhat
Thank goodness for Ukraine! Scary part is, most of the Ukrainian-Canadian clients I know have NO IDEA about this ...
Andrew W
After the Stanley Cup playoffs when Ruslan Fedetenko took the cup to Ukraine, seeing the outpouring of support and pride in one player made me immediately think what a huge lift they would get from qualifying for their first major soccer championship. I'm not Ukrainian but I live in Alberta so I know many Ukrainian-Canadians. However, I concur that not many of them know about the soccer team, even amongst the friends I'd consider very well connected to their traditional homeland. SPS
Day Bozhe Jarrek!! I know that here in Winnipeg, even Ukies that don't really play the sport support the National team and Dynamo Kiev very enthusiastically. I guess this year has been good in both respects thus far. Let's hope the good fortune continues as both sides have tough groups to get through. Trymaisia Braty!!
