Timko and Jamani are up for double duty. Favoured as they were in Costa Rica "Bigred" will have to prove that their success at the 2002 World Championships was no fluke. Coach Bridge will be under the spotlight as anything less than a berth to the 2004 World Championship in Thailand this November would be inexcusable. Meanwhile in Montreal the Americans will have a similar task facing the Costa Ricans. The Americans and Costa Ricans have yet to face a worthy opponent in their first two matches. The final four will meet on Friday in Montreal with the winners facing off next Sunday in Ottawa.
