Canuck Oranje
Saw Robinho and Diego play while I am here in Sao Paulo. I think the Right back for Canada facing Robinho will have his hands full. He seems like a very quick player and very flashy.. I like him better than Kaka now playing with Milan. Diego is good too but I didn´t think as flashy as Robinho. These two are worth watching.. So Canada-Brazil in U-20 should be interesting. Later this week I will post my impressions of the soccer scene in Sao Paulo on the General Forum.. Gian-Luca
I thought I had heard somewhere that neither of these players will be on the Brazil U20 squad, as Brazil believes they are ready for full time duty on the U23 team (both players were on that squad in this summer's Gold Cup). DJT
The Brazilian roster is expected to be announced today (Tuesday, November 4). So far two players have been named: Daniel Alves da Silva (Sevilla) and Alcides Eduardo Mendes de Araújo Júnior (Schalke). The remaining 18 players will be from Brazilian clubs. Yes, G-L, this is what I recall, too. We will be spared the flashy onslaught of Robhino (which means "BeaverHo" in Portuguese.)
