Wyn Belotte and Gordon Chin scored first half goals to lead the Canadians to the win. Honduras scored in the 50th minute. "It is always gopod to win but our play was a bit inconsistent," said Canadian head coach Dale Mitchell. "We had some good moments and in particular our second goal came after a very good buildup. In general though we could have kept the ball better." The Canadians will play a regional select team on July 29th before facing El Salvador on July 31st and the US on August 2nd. Yes, I must have missed that. Thanks Ed. I'm glad to see that as least the available U20 players are playing together. The next step will be keeping the North American players in game shape when the A-League season has ended. I'm a bit worried about whether Wyn will be at his best for November since he is unattached.
