Player, Club, Home Province Matthew Rios, Futsal Club Toronto, ON Nazim Belguendouz, FC Sparte, QC Reda Agourram, FC Sparte, QC Maxime Leconte, FC Sparte, QC Jay Tomchuk, New Generation FC, SK Nicolas Gonzalez, Calgary Villain FC, AB Dylan Tooby, Foothills Darts, AB Khalid Ismail (GK), Montreal United, QC Diyaeddine Abzi, Sporting Montreal FC, QC Jacob Orellana, Toronto Idolo Futsal, ON Aziah Reid, Futsal Club Toronto, ON Luigi Caruso (GK), Toronto Idolo Futsal, ON Ousamma Laguel, Sporting Montreal FC, QC Luis Rocha, Toronto Idolo Futsal, ON The matches will also be streamed online by the Costa Rican FA. Tough 4-5 loss in the first and bad 0-5 loss in the second game. It is nice to finally see some action from Canada futsal, though. Do you know why the roster was entirely domestically based? We probably would've been better off with a couple professional indoor players who play in the States rather than an entire Canada based amateur team. I'm guesssing that it's because those players were unavailable because they are playing indoor soccer at the same time. PLFQ even paused this weekend so the top players wouldn't miss any games.
