Martyr Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 I'm really happy Richard Scott has highlighted the contributions of this player on the CSA web site. Donnelly was an inspriational captain for Canada during a time when the players had to pay their own way to represent their country. While I would agree we can still do much more for all of our national teams - the hardships faced by Donnelly and her teammates in the 80s and early 90s in representing their country are far beyond what the players experience today. Her dedication to the sport deserves to recognized. A Hall of Fame place is long overdue.
