VPjr
Note to Mods: ***not sure if this is the proper forum to post this so, if not, feel free to move somewhere that is deemed more appropriate *** The Canadian produced TV series "Soccer Dreams", will be broadcast on MenTV (Rogers Digital Cable Channel 280) Sunday's at 12 noon EST and repeated at 7 PM EST. This show was originally broadcast last fall on Fox Soccer Channel and is now coming to Canadian TV. It was primarily filmed in Canada and features Canadian players (from all over Canada) working under the direction of Ray Hall (youth academy manager for Everton FC). The concept of the show is similar "Football Idol" that airs frequently on FSWC. From the original large group of young Canadian footballers, one Canadian player will be selected to join Everton for a 2 year stay at their academy in Liverpool. The show was filmed between May and August 2008. If someone knows the outcome of the show (I do not), please don't spoil the surprise. I hope it is enjoyable. youllneverwalkalone
So if the loser has to go to Everton for two years, what does the winner get?
Dare431
I found it interesting in the Chelsea one that the winner was released after the year and is now playing for a Blue Square South club. That's quite a jump from a 1st tier youth team to 6th tier first team.
