Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade singled out goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for praise following Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Huddersfield Town.

Begovic pulled off a series of saves to keep the Yorkshire club at bay and afterwards Slate saluted the former Portsmouth goalkeeper's showing.

He said: "First half he made some fantastic saves. He came on loan to us for three games last season and did smashing, but then Harry Redknapp called him back.

"We didn't hesitate to take him on loan when we couldn't afford to keep Steve Mildenhall with us. To have him back was great but he has taken a little bit more time to settle this time around. But he's only 20 and he loves to work and he is starting to hit the form that he showed last year. He has gained confidence from the clean sheet against Orient on Saturday."

good to hear that Asmir is settling in finally. It appeared he had been struggling but it sounds like he's put that behind him now.
