I remember when Carol Anne Chénard, was playing U18 in Ottawa with the Gloucester club, a good player then but a better referee it was good she decided to specialize at an age she could become a FIFA appointed referee, its very heartening to see a young person is the sport advance to the highest levels on merit and hard work. We can expect to see her doing men's and women's World Cup games in the future barring injury.
