The new rule in the Ecuadorian league is that each team must start a U-18 player in the pro's. They must play at least 30 min. Each team is granted one more sub because of this rule. I think its a great rule to have in the MLS. That way it forces to have 3 to 4 players that are under 18 on the pro squad. Vancouver / Toronto /Montreal would then pick local kids to train with the pros. We could develop our youth to be pros in our owen back yard.
