Imhof and McKenna have both started in their club's respective matches. Cottbus trails east German rivals Aue 2-0 at the half. Bochum is still 0-0 with Offenbach. After weeks of having games cancelled due to weather conditions, 4th division TeBe Berlin can finally play a game tonight and this may see the debut of Ryan Thompson.

Imhof subbed for a more offensive player in minute 78 as Bochum hope but fail to equalize and go down 1-0 at home to relegation candidate Offenbach. Cottbus more successful in their comeback attempt and score 2 second half goals to tie Aue 2-2. They are currently 1 point out of a promotion spot in 4th while Bochum remains in 1st place.

Exciting game in the Bundesliga 2 right now, as FC Saarbruecken lead guests SpVgg Unterhaching 3-1, with the first half not yet in the books. Tam Nsaliwa has started in central D and, in fact, a misplay on his part led to the only goal against, in this game that Saarbruecken needs to win. If the win stands, Saarbruecken will be level on points with Dynamo Dresden, at least 1 point back of safety, depending on other results today and this weekend.

Kevin McKenna with Energie Cottbus play on Sunday and Daniel Imhof with VfL Bochum are up against 1860 Muenchen in Monday's game. Good news as Nik Ledgerwood was with the full 1860 Muenchen team as they were away in Italy earlier this week, getting in some solid prep for their game Monday.

Entertaining match today, with FC Saarbruecken going ahead 5-1 at one point and Unterhaching pulling back to 5-3 with a late goal, but Saarbruecken do get the much needed win.

Seems O'Connor is back playing for 1860 Munich U-19 side recently. He was in the back 3 in the last two matches which means his long term injury must have healed. Hopefully we will see him in the Porto tournament in April.

I was just going to post that. Good to see him back. The schedule has had major disruptions with the unusual amount of bad weather.

However, I'm still trying to find info on Marinko Maras with Kaiserslautern. They don't have much in the way of info on their youth teams, unlike 1860 and others.

Sulentic came on in minute 73 after Pauli had gone down to 10 men but Pauli lost their 1-0 lead to lose 2-1. Pauli sit in 3rd two points from a promotion spot but having played 2 more games than the 2nd place team. Sulentic seems to be primarily a sub for them this year but he does seem to get on for at least 20 minutes in most games.

Good day in the 2nd BL for Canadians. Imhof, McKenna and Nsaliwa all play 90 (Ledgerwood does not play). Bochum beats Braunschweig 4-0, Cottbus defeats Unterhaching 2-0, Saarbruecken beats Freiburg 2-1 and 1860 finally win for the first time under their new coach 1-0 over Paderborn. Bochum 1st, Cottbus 3rd, 1860 11th and Saarbruecken in the last demotion place 15th on goal differential.

McKenna played 90 and Nsaliwa 80 as Saarbruecken defeats Cottbus 1-0. Cottbus still in final promotion spot and Saarbruecken moves out of the demotion zone. 1860 also won but Ledgerwood is apparently still injured. Bochum plays tomorrow.
