Rocket Robin
From a real old Usenet post we see that former Canadian national Colin Miller played for Hamilton of Scotland years ago. Search Result 2 From: mlindroos@abo.fi (mlindroos@abo.fi) Subject: Canadians:update View: Complete Thread (2 articles) Original Format Newsgroups: rec.sport.soccer Date: 1990-10-30 13:14:21 PST Yes, the list of Canadian soccer pros in Europe DID contain some errors: 1) Apparently Randy Samuel never made it in Lisbon last year. Instead, The North American Legend is back in Holland with Fortuna Sittard. 2) Enzo Concina; this guy played for Piacenza in the Italian Second Division last year. I did not include him in my first list. 3) Another Canuck, Ian Bridge, played for La Chaux De Fonds in the Swiss Second Division a few years ago. Does anybody know if he's still in Europe? Here we go again: PLAYER TEAM Craig Forrest Ipswich (England) Randy Samuel Fortuna Sittard (Holland) Terry Moore Glentoran (Northern Ireland) John Limniatis Aris Salonika (Greece) Colin Miller Hamilton Academical (Scotland) Enzo Concina Piacenza (Italy) According to WORLD SOCCER, the following players definitely played over here - last year! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
