argh1
AWWright it's a small thing , but a N.I. side wins anything in Europe [)] Oh, yeah they beat AC Allianssi of Finland 4-3 aggregate. BBC ARTICLE I should mention Shelbourne (Eircom League) has made to 2nd round of Champions League , although they lost 3-2 to Hadjuk Split of Croatia in the 1st leg yesterday . Cork also of the Eircom league made it through 2 rounds of Inter-Toto before losing to Nantes of France 4-2 aggregate in the 3rd round. Yes Linfield, Portadown, Ballymena, Bohemians crashed out. Longford Town is currently behind 1-0 to Vaduz of Liechtenstein 29' mark and they lost the 1st leg 1-0 away. Not bad for semi-pros or part-timers whatever you prefer. EDIT : Longford Town lose 3-2 Vaduz 4-2 aggregate. Leaves Shelbourne (Republic) down 3-2 Hadjuk Split and Glentoran (N.I.) In Europe Cup play .......trying to figure out who Glentoran plays next ? Polish_LYNX_Fan
How about Amica Wronki (the only polish team left in UEFA CUP ) surprisingly. Wisla Krkaow getting beatw 2-1 on teh road by Dinamoi Tibilisi (Georgia) Emberasing!!! The entire Board announced their resignation and teh coach Henryk Kasperczak (who led Tunesia to their first WC in 20 yrs in France 98) says he will leave @ the Winter break. Also lot of their stars will move on. Zurawski ( the goals scorer against England ) will most likley move to spain along with others. But yeah concentrate on AMICA WRONKI its a ver very small town, well actually a village, the team was founded in 1992.
