Atiba Hutchinson scored twice in the last ten minutes (82 and 88), saving an important point for Östers IF in their 3-3 draw home against Helsingborgs IF, and almost made a deciding goal at extratime monday night. Good day for a game like that, since agents from four different european clubs were at the arena, with at least Manchester City and PSG (Paris) mainly to look at Atiba. There are also much talk about that swedish premier runner-ups Malmö FF is wants Atiba. I will definitely try to follow what happens here the next months, could be exciting. Öster presently at play-off position, but the results the last day will be deciding. Video clip at http://svt.se/content/1/c6/13/15/44/031020_oster_hi.ram (Öster in red).

Enköpings SK lost 3-1 away against Landskrona Bois with Kenny Stamatopoulos playing. Relegation is now all but in theory (Enköping has to win their last match with 13-0 while Öster lose and Sundsvall doesn't win) certain. Örebro SK played a 1-1 draw away against Hammarby IF, Pozniak playing 90 and picking up a yellow. Video clip at http://svt.se/content/1/c6/13/15/50/031020_bajen_hi.ram (Örebro in black).

Saturday Västerås IK continued on their losing streak in the 3-0 away loss to Åtvidabergs FF. Adam Braz played full match.

A little bit more on Atiba's possible transfer. The four clubs were Manchester City, PSG, Panathinaikos and Hansa Rostock. According to Atiba, City and PSG had been in contact with his agent prior to the match. Hansa was there primarily to watch a couple of Helsingborg players (they've signed half a dozen Helsingborg players over the last 5 years). We don't know why Panathinaikos were there.

Atiba, who is a nice boy, says that he has a contract for the next season and is happy to stay with the club. His coach Leif Widén, on the other hand, says that if Öster gets relegated they will let Atiba go. Widén says that Atiba needs premier division play to continue to develop and keep his spot in the national team. As far as I understand Öster will also let Atiba go, regardless of relegation, if the club gets an reasonable offer from a major european league club.

It's important for the development of the game in Canada that players like Atiba joins a bigger club. More people will start to take notice, especially if he plays for City. :)

He cannot play for City as he would never get a work permit under the present conditions.
