JayWay
Hume scores. Second goal in a week. Looks like he's back on form.
jonovision
A lot of praise for Hume on the Tranmere board (www.rovesrearguard.com), suggests that he could have had a few more, and that the goal he did score was a first class strike. I guess playing for Canada last weekend was the kick in the pants he needed. Note that he got the start today instead of coming on at half as he did midweek. Guest Jeffery S.
Division 1, Pesch came on m. 58 in a 2-0 loss to Millwall. Wigan won without de Vos and go top of the league, Norwich without Brennan lost. Division 2, Bircham played 90 as QPR drew scoreless with Peterborough, who had only 10 from m. 30 after captain Burton was sent off for kicking at Birch from the ground. Bent came on m. 73 for Plymouth who were already up 1-5 over Port Vale. They and QPR are tied for 2nd in the division, three points off the lead. Hume played 88 and scored the tying goal as Tranmere went on to win -2-1 over Oldham. They are still lower mid table. Wycombe without Rogers lost, they are last. Division Three, Bury lost 0-4 to Oxford as Dunfield played 90, had chances on goal too, but three goals Oxford in 5 late minutes blew their chances for a comeback. Fenwick did not play for Hibs in Scotland, as they fell to Livingston 0-2.

marcl_19
was hume playin wing or striker?
jonovision
Hume started as a striker. Then, in the second half, they subbed out a midfielder, and brought on another striker, and Hume dropped back to play more of a free role. He scored his goal after this substitution, I think.
