Tillsonburg FC would like to invite you and your team to participate in the 8th Annual Pre Season Soccer Tournament Senior Division.

Tournament Date: April 30 & May 1, 2011

Tournament entry fee: $300.

Tournament registration Deadline: April 4, 2011

All games are played on natural grass surface eleven players a side.

All teams are guaranteed three games.

Tournament Rules

• All players must be registered with OSA for the 2011 outdoor season. (As per district & OSA policy )

• Out of district teams will require to obtain a travel permit from there district (As per district & OSA policy)

• All games are 2 X 25 min with a five-minute half time break

• 3 points for a win

• 1 point for a tie

• Substitutions allowed on goal kicks or injuries only

• A maximum number of 21 players are allowed per each team

Tie Breakers for placement

• Head to Head

• Goal differential

• Most Goals scored

• If teams are tied the two teams will take penalty shoots to determine the winner (FIFA rules).

Discipline

• If player receives a yellow a card, the player must be substituted immediately. Penalized player will not be allowed to renter the field of play till the next opportunity for the next substitution (goal kick or injury).

• If a player accumulates two yellows during the same day of the tournament player will be automatically suspended from the tournament.

• Yellow cards will not carry forward to day 2 of the tournament. If player receives a red card player will automatically be suspended from the tournament.

• Each team will provide a game ball prior to kickoff to the game official.

• We like to ask all teams to bring two kits to avoid colour clashes.

Quarter Finals / Semis Finals / Final are 2 X 25 min

If a game is tied after regulation time 10 min overtime is played without the golden goal rule. If the game is still tied penalty shoots will determine the winner (FIFA rules).

Step 2: Mail signed registration form and fee to below address (fee is due one week after we receive your email registration, please make cheque payable to Tillsonburg FC) all cheques are payable to Tillsonburg FC:

Step 3: Mail or email in the Tournament Roster Sheet by April 15, 2011. (Scanned copies are acceptable). We will email this forms to you, upon receipt of your registration form and fee.

Each team will have to register at the tournament registration desk prior to participation, please ensure that all the below documents are accurate and up to date:

• Tournament Roster Sheet

• Travel Permit

• Player Books

• Trial Permit

(no team will be permitted to play if documents are missing, or incomplete, please take the time to mail or email these documents in on the day of the tournament this will help us concentrate on soccer not on paper work and administration)
