Other than the student bodies of the teams playing are there fans for these university teams? I ask because I probably going to go to some of the U of A games at foote field in Edmonton this fall, because I doubt tickets will cost that much and FC Edmonton's advertising year will be over, and I would still want to go watch games. I used to watch UNB play and it was interesting to see some of the grad students that came from countries like France and Sweden to have a "kick about". Some players have good skills but felt they couldn't make it at a pro level. Take a closer look at the rosters, you might recognize a name or 2... maybe you'll see them later with the Edmonton Green and Gold or with FC Edmonton.
