DJT
Guidelines for this thread In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for May 14-20, 2010. If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. nolando
In France Al-Shaibani played the entire match in a 1-1 draw with Tours in what looks like the last match of the season. Nimes finished in 9th place overall in the 20-team division. In Finland Ricketts came in on 77 minutes as his MyPa beat Lahti 2-0 Monsalve played as his Inter Turku drew 2-2 with Turku PS Jonke is injured (right thigh) and missed his side AC Oulu's 0-0 draw with Mariehamn. His is a "huge loss" according to the fan boards.
nolando
In Denmark, Issey came off his call-up with Canada by playing no part in his AC Horsens 2-0 victory over Braband. I searched to see if he had picked up a knock (he hadn't) and found this SIX page forum thread spearing him and roasting him over the fire for his play this season. He seems to be the Velez/Garcia of AC Horsens: http://www.acsupport.dk/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=26&func=view&id=37122&catid=2&limit=6&limitstart=

canucklefan
Also, I think it is important to mention that Marcel De Jong will play in Bundesliga 2 next year as his next club, FC Augsburg, did lose 1 - 0 against Nurnberg in the first leg for the promotion/relegation playoffs and today in the second leg game, they are losing again 2 - 0 after 80 minutes. tarnado1555362291
Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgeault played 62 minutes for FC St. Pauli in an international friendly against Celtic celebrating the club's (St. Pauli) 100th anniversary. Score was 1-0 for Celtic when JBB was subbed off. It should be noted the fans(and players) gave him a very warm send off.
Guest Ed
^ It's not through lack of effort or attitude that JBB might not make it to the B1 with St Pauli.
nolando
Nakajima scored the second goal in Horsens 3-0 win over AB Copenhagen : "Issey Nakajima-Farran increased to 2-0 when he was fastest to the ball after Thomas' s short pass."
