tmcmurph
Well Atlanta just kissed their playoff hopes goodbye and gave a nice boost to NYRB. Maybe they didn't want the travel expense of the playoffs. Strange timing.
Lorne
I like that player and not surprised to see him leave Atlanta. He has great presence on the ball and reminded me of Thierry Henry when I saw him on usllive.com. When I saw him live at Saputo stadium he did not show anything special. So I guess that he is still learning his game, but in the right system this guy could be magic. Atlanta did look like a team out of the playoffs tonight in Puerto Rico, but PR didnt impress me either.
tmcmurph
I've only seen Atlanta play twice this year, once against Montreal and once against Vancouver but both times Kandji was the only threat Atlanta had. He has nice touch and that instant acceleration while changing direction speed that can be a game breaker. Nice signing by the Red Bulls just in time for the playoff run. 11 goals & 5 assists in 21 games without much supporting cast.

Now I don't who you watched exactly, but Kandji did not travel with the team for the games in Montreal...
Keegan
Saw him play just once on FSC for about 20 minutes and he scored. Perfect striker physique and skill. Tall, lanky, quick, skilled.
