tmcmurph
Going back over the last 8 years of the USL-1 regular season results and using the win=3, tie=1 point system here are the season winning percentages (points taken out of points available): 2007 = 64% 2006 = 60% 2005 = 72% 2004 = 67% 2003 = 64% 2002 = 83% 2001 = 65% 2000 = 76% Here are the current standings: Charleston Battery = 60% Puerto Rico Islanders = 53% Vancouver Whitecaps = 57% Seattle Sounders = 45% Portland Timbers = 41% Atlanta Silverbacks = 47% Miami FC Blues = 37% Carolina RailHawks = 41% Rochester Rhinos = 40% Minnesota Thunder = 31% Montreal Impact = 33% So 3 teams have taken more than half the points available to them. Montreal need to get some wins needless to say but with 45 points left on the table they can still turn it around with 3 or 4 wins in a row. Starting any time now would be nice. Vancouver has been very economical in getting the amount of points they have from the number of goals they've scored. By this scoring system Vancouver is in second place and Atlanta is in fourth. Just looking at things while listening to the Caps game. Eddy comes through again for us. He must have close to half the Caps goals this year.
