It's a bit of a tradition in Winnipeg's East End to set a carton of eggs out to, uhmmm,,,, ripen under the back steps for the week or so before "Gate Night", October 30th. Got to be careful though. If it's too warm in late fall the eggs get brittle too quick and you end up with stanky egg all over your paw instead of the target. And if it's too cold you just may as well be throwing golf balls. Like most things in life, it's all about finding balance. P.S. Motor oil on the windshield was another fav. Ever try to clean motor oil off your windshield? Especially in the winter? Not happening without some kick ass effort. But great for a laugh if you're not the one trying to clean the windshield.
