The FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010 campaign marks The Voyageurs 4th World Cup campaign and the 1st time an effort has been officially made by the Canadian Soccer Association to accommodate Canada's “elite” fan base. The Voyageurs are pleased to announce that for World Cup Qualifying the CSA has agreed to sponsor a Supporters Section specifically for Canada's most dedicated, loyal and resilient fans, such as The Voyageurs.

All Canadian supporters are welcome to join in with The Voyageurs in the Supporters Section and put in their best vocal and visual efforts in cheering on Canada towards their place in South Africa 2010.

Canada's elite club supporter groups, U-Sector (Toronto Football Club), Red Patch Boys (Toronto Football Club), Southsiders (Vancouver Whitecaps) and Montreal Ultras (Montreal Impact) have all embrassed the need for a Supporters Section at Canada's World Cup qualifying fixtures and will also be afforded the 1st opportunity for Supporter Section tickets.

For Friday, June 20ths match against Saint Vincent and The Grenadines at Stade Saputo in Montreal, PQ, tickets to the Supporters Section will be available through Ticketmaster with the use of a special promotion code.

The Supporters Section will be in section 114 and cost $10. The Voyageurs and friends will have exclusive access to tickets in the Supporters Section from May 7th to May 21st. After May 21st tickets in the Supporters Section will be made available to the general public. At this time 500 seats in section 114 have been set aside for the Supporters Section.

Members of The Voyageurs will be receiving an e-mail over the next few days with the Ticketmast promotion code for the Canadian Supporters Section. Please respect the fact that by it's design this CSA/Voyageur initiative is an effort to encourage Canada's most dedicated and enthusiastic supporters to do what they do best. Provide our World Cup team with the vocal encouragement and support they need in their quest for South Africa 2010. So please keep the promotion code private and for personal use until May 22nd.

Well, Section 114 has sold out and the Voyageurs and Friends are now looking to expand into Section 115. Less than two weeks to go and the rush for tickets is on so act fast while the opportunity is still available.
