Daniel
According to CKAC, a D2 club associated with the Impact (reserves) will see the light of day in 2006. It will be in the province, most probably in Quebec City, Sherbrooke or Trois-Rivieres.

Saint John has a 5000-seat stadium and 122,000 people in the city. Call them the Halifax Trailer Park Boys. I'm betting a PDL team. Quebec City would be a great spot, but I bet Laval or Rive Sud gets the nod as all you need is 250 a game and both are close to MTL for call-up and practices. Daniel
Yeah, it's always about ownership and never about population. Do we have to repeat it every time? It will be D2, not PDL and it will be "somewhere we played this season". The Montreal supporters don't know if they should like or dislike this team, who could one day turn into a fierce rival. That level has been in peril for years. I suspect it'll stick around. I hope so as I think it would be a viable league for places like Ottawa (as a next step for the Fury) or Hamilton (next step for the Steelers?).
