Daniel Posted July 10, 2004 Share Posted July 10, 2004 On Impactsoccer.com, there are rumblings of an conversation between Saputo and the mayor overheard at a recent home games (hey, when's the last time canadian soccer had anything "overheard..."[]). Saputo would be interested in building a stadium with his own money but there'd be a track to "make money back off it". The whole thing seems nonsensical (Saputo being the first to condemn the track at CCR and why would he talk to the mayor about this?), but it's still a (very little) something.
