Ivan
World Soccer Magazine has a four-page feature on Werder Bremen in their March issue. First page includes a half page photo of Micoud, Ismael and Stalteri celebrating a goal. Article, as a regular feature, includes a bio on each player. Stalteri's reads: Paul Stalteri (Can) 18.10.77. Industrious, adaptable Canadian International who has served Werder well since arriving from Toronto Lynx in 1997. Now the established left back, but can fill a number of roles, even up front. Later in the issue they have a Canadian Report (short) stating that their will be 5 clubs competing in the 2nd division of American soccer this year. Couple quotes from the article. "Other clubs, based in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Hamilton, are set to join the A-League over the next few seasons suggesting that a separate Canadian League is no nearer fruition." "Our objective is to see at least six Canadian Clubs in action by 2005 as a minimum target, said CSA President Andy Sharpe."
