Ryan Keay
From TorontoUltras.net Steele Finds Diamond In The Rough Lynx Officially Blois - Sign Former England U16 International Interesting Lynx news broke today in off all places, the east of England. TorontoUltras.net have learned that former England U16 International and Norwich City full back Lewis Blois has signed with the Toronto Lynx. Blois was for a time, on professional terms with Norwich and was a regular in a successful Norwich City reserve squad. The defender seemed to have a bright future according to most fans, but at the end of the 2002, he was deemed surplus to manager Nigel Worthington and released by the club. Unable to catch on with a club immediately, Blois dropped to the non-league level and split his time between youth coaching and playing. Through connections with Lynx Assistant Coach Billy Steele, Blois saw an opportunity to kick-start his professional soccer career in Canada and headed to Lynx open trials. After heavily impressing the Lynx brass at the trials, he has been signed by the club for the 2004 season. From scouting reports, Blois is a quick, skillful left back who looks equally at home in the midfield and is comfortable going forward. This signing seems to signal the end of Mauricio Vincello's career with the Lynx, as unless Blois is to take an unlikely position as a midfielder, having two foreign left backs does not seem likely. canadiankick97
Good news mostly I guess, except for Vincello. I always liked the guy.

Nope, my guess is there were a couple players from the open trials that were signed and they want to announce them at once, after the contracts situation was taken care of. I dont know if you saw the article on the other board, but we got this information from a Norwich area paper. He seems like an intriguing signing, can't say much beyond that definitely. drewsome
Reason for no release from the Lynx is that they are waiting for his international transfer papers from England before they announce it. Don't want another Kryger situation.

(ie are still with the Lynx and wont need to sign a new deal).
drewsome
think Serioux has a year left. That would be the only one that comes to mind. Even then I'm not so sure.
