Gian-Luca
There is the potential for 3 Canucks to join Radzinski & Hirshfeld (assuming the latter one day sees any first team minutes) in the EPL next year, with Brennan scoring today for first-place Norwich in their 2-0 win its looking really good for them to win automatic promotion. If Sheffield & Wigan (who also won today) can nabe the other spot & the playoff. A best case scenario would see the Dunfield to Portsmouth rumours come true with Hume being transferred to an EPL team from Tranmere after scoring so many key goals for them & his excellent U20 performance, adding 5 more Canucks in total to the EPL next year, just in time for qualifying. We live in hope.
Reza
Wigan has quite a long way to go. Their April & May schedule looks tough (facing Norwich, West Ham, Sunderland, Crystal Palace to name a few), so they have to get as many points as possible in Feb & March and potentially move into the 2nd spot before going into April assuming that Norwich has a lock on first. After that, they must play extremely well to stay in top two and they must still play quite well to remain in playoff race if things remain as tight as they are now. Gian-Luca
Also, we could see Bent & Bircham move up to Division 1 next year as their teams are still 1st & 2nd in the English 2nd division.
Gordon
DeVos makes reference to the international calendar, but I don' think those apply to nationwide teams unless at least 3 from one team are called. Perhaps he is figuring on being up one division come fall.
sstackho
Good point Gordon. They seem to have one other international (Northern Ireland) but that's all I noticed. They should buy another player from a small country in order to get their games postponed.

Peter Kennedy is the Northern Ireland international. He is out of contract in summer and has been told that he can find a new club. Neil Roberts is in and out of the Wales squad at the moment. Lee McCullouch and Steve McMillan are pretty close to the scotland squad, Gary Teale has just got a call up for the first time into the scotland squad and Leighton Baines our left-back should be in the England Under 19's, Under 20's or Under 21's squad pretty soon, if there is any justice in the world. Then we have our newest signing Alan Mahon who has 2 caps for the Republic of Ireland. Now he's getting regular football after signing from Blackburn he could be in with a shout of getting back into the international set-up.
