I'm surprised that Jeffrey didn't mention that Benfica were back in action on Tuesday for the first time since Fehér's death (the match was originally scheduled for Saturday but was postponed because of that). Fernando Aguiar was subbed on at the 90th minute as Benfica defeated visiting Académica 2-0.

Guest Jeffery S.

Richard Hastings played 90 Thurs eve as Maastricht VV beat Stormvogels Telstar (and you guys complain about CDN team names) 1-0 in the Dutch 2nd div. The team now has three wins on the season, is still in the fight to avoid relegation.

Paul Fenwick did not dress as Hibs beat Rangers in penalties after a 1-1 draw to go into the League Cup finals.
