When is the tournament in Panama? I haven't found any information about this tournament on the canadian soccer website. Who are the participating teams Canada, Panama and who?

Thanks

Rodway posted this here in early September:

3.9.03 - The under-20 teams of Canada, Mexico and Paraguay will join the host in a four-nation tournament “Cien años de La República” from 15-19 October 2003 at the Estadio Rommel Fernández in Ciudad de Panamá.

The event begins on 15 October with Paraguay taking on Mexico in the opener and Canada meeting Panama in the nightcap. The second day on 17 October will feature Mexico facing Canada and then Paraguay squaring off against Panama. The round-robin tournament concludes on 19 October with Canada against Paraguay and then Panama hosting Mexico.

All four teams are in preparations for the 2003 FIFA World Youth (U-20) Championship, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 27 November – 19 December.

-First off it is odd that the U-20s were supposed to do a camp in Vanvouver late Sept-early Oct, ie, right now. But no sign of it. Mind you the Panama tournament was originally scheduled for late this month, being moved forward that probably altered the CSA plans. The original plan, made last spring, was this:

September 26 - October 6 : Training camp in Vancouver with exhibition games

(University and A league)

October 20 - November 1 : Tournament in Panama vs. Columbia (sic) and Panama
