beachesl Posted July 26, 2003 Share Posted July 26, 2003 So if the Brazil U-23 Olympic team wins the "Gold Cup" (how about "Tin Cup", or "Warner Bowl") tomorrow, does that mean Blatter will take our 1/2 Concanaf spot and give it to South America? How about this (this IS true, I'm not making it up!): CONCANAF regulations say that if the USA beats Costa Rica today (but not vice-versa!) and the Brazil Mini-me's beat Mexico, the US and Mexico will meet in a home-and-away extra series to determine the REAL Concanaf champions (and thus the representatives at the "Blatter Bowl", aka Confederations Cup in 2005).
