If we put Davies where he normally plays for Canada, then Pulisic doesn’t make the Best XI because they play the same position. People tend to put Davies at LB to make it convenient for picking a team.

Larin is now CONCACAF’s 2nd leading scorer in a top 5 league this season. Our 2 strikers are the best strikers in CONCACAF. What a year.

I think Larin may have found a home. His club have been a mid table quality club since he’s joined. He’s 28 and it’s time for him to settle and be productive. If he can bang in 10+ goals a year in La Liga during his prime then that’s a great solution in my books. It really makes him the 2nd best striker in CONCACAF after David.

I think this was his 6th goal and with a 6th goal, his transfer becomes permanent as long as they are not relegated. Hopefully someone else confirm that for me.

About 3-4 years ago we really didn’t have any depth at FB and especially RB. Laryea was a midfielder at the time and we had Adekugbe for LB but he was injured and really hadn’t emerged yet. We had a few extra CB’s so the back 3. Then Johnston emerged and immediately seized the RB spot, starting I think 25 straight games. Laryea and Adekugbe emerged and now all these other players are coming up. Suddenly FB is our deepest position probably.

Alistair is so popular amongst Celtic fans; but after Celtic get their 100 point season, there will be player sales coming. Celtic are in the business of winning trophies and selling players for profit. If Celtic is selling, he could be a player they sell on. He’s 24 so now a prime age sale player. Having got him for the bargain of £3 million, a quick sale for £10 million could be in order. There’s a big market for star RB’s in that £10 million range and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him in the EPL next year.

A club like Real Valladolid doesn’t get all that many full international players and it’s indeed news for one of their players to score a brace in an international tournament. I’m sure the fans there are becoming quite enamoured with him, especially given his production for their club.

It may be the strongest starting XI we’ve ever fielded IMO. An ideal back line would have Miller but otherwise that’s our best XI I think. It’s a super mobile line up front to back though.

Fotmob has him as the MoM so far and the eye test confirms it. He’s been TFC’s best player tonight and he’s improved dramatically from last year. He’s not a natural Rab but he sure can play football. He’s a baller out there.

Against Honduras at home- absolutely never. Herdman want to win a trophy. Nations League is right there for the taking and Honduras is in our way. He played the lineup today in order to get the result and also set them up to play Honduras. We will play our best XI at home and no stops will be taken to win. We need to come 1st and try to win the Nations League.

As much as I don’t want to see Tajon pick up a knock- I love him running against tired defenders. He’s one of my favourite players to watch.
