Protega
Anyone else think this is ridiculous? 1,000 kids (granted, over a few age groups) for an hour or hour and a half? Is it that difficult to just have some people scout games around the province here and there? https://www.torontofc.ca/post/2017/10/16/academy-update-october-11-
Saviola7
Forgive my optimism, but I don't think it's all that bad. Over 6 - 7 age groups that's 150 players for an hour. Note that this is one of many avenues of identifying they do. They have TFC juniors, take referrals from TDs, and scout OPDL/provincial program. I also think they have random people here and there. 04dad
my son made it to the 2nd rounds of the tryouts last year, basically from 250 down to 12 training with the current team as exciting as it was, the drive to downsview coming from the west end was insane, it was a great experience overall
